Position Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential for maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with accounting principles and standards.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and analysis on variances.

  • Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Conduct regular audits of financial data and reports to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.

  • Maintain and update accounting software and systems, ensuring data integrity and security.

  • Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision-making purposes.

  • Stay current with accounting regulations and best practices to enhance processes and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this position is approximately $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
