At Advantage Consulting Group our love of serving people translates into exceptional experiences for both clients and candidates.
Our spirit of service flows from the top and has been embraced by each and every team member. Each placement is personal to us.
 

Over 25 Years in the Making

After nearly 20 years in the local recruiting and staffing industry, we opened our first venture in 2009, Enginuity Advantage. To this day Enginuity Advantage’s focus is exclusively on engineering staffing in the Pacific Northwest.

Our reach was expanding, we were helping more people, our clients were happy, and we were continuing to grow. We were thrilled…and BUSY!

But, of course, we weren’t finished. We realized there are many people who aren’t engineers and there are many companies who don’t need engineers. Even our existing clients had other hiring needs outside of engineering. So, in 2015 Advantage Consulting Group was born.

Advantage Consulting Group is a full-service staffing firm, dedicated to serving Pacific Northwest companies and employees. We continue to embody the same passion for serving people that has helped to cultivate our long-lasting relationships to this point; only now we have a much wider platform.

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

I have been in this business for 25 years because I LOVE helping people and making a difference. The ripple effect of the work keeps me excited and inspired to jump out of bed every day and serve. A person’s career is such an important aspect of their life and good bad or otherwise, it affects every part of your life and ripples out into the world. I love that we’re part of helping people find the perfect opportunity that makes a huge difference in their life and that of their family and that we help companies reach their goals/objectives by hiring the right team members.

Best advice I’ve ever been given?

I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. – Maya Angelou

Cats or Dogs?

Although I love all animals, the herd of dogs I have nipping at my heels speaks for itself.

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

The most inspiring part of my job hands down is watching our team-members learn, grow and gain confidence as professionals within our industry. The biggest and most important part of my day-to-day is supporting our team, being a resource and offering any guidance and support that they need. I truly love serving our team and watching them flourish.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is…

Hard to pick just one. So here are two of my favorite pieces of advice:

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

Having the power to help connect people with their dream job, which can be life changing. And I love helping clients find the best person to add to their team and help their business grow.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

I’m a pro at the original Mario Bros Nintendo Game. I can usually beat the game in 10 minutes. I’m extremely competitive when it comes to anything video game related including Mario Kart, Mario Party, Donkey Kong, etc.

Cats or Dogs?

I like dogs, but I’m more of a cat person – I love their independence.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

I love connecting with people. I love hearing the excitement from both the candidate and company when they feel like they have found an amazing match in each other!

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

I enjoy playing “nerdy” board games that take 15-30min just to set up and then another 1-3 hours to play… or it could be my obsession with Christmas, Disney, and Harry Potter… I love them all!

I absolutely love cats and dogs and I want all of the snuggles! The end.

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

The most inspiring part of my job is that I get to be the connection between great candidates and great companies. It’s so exciting coming across a wonderful person and having a position that I know they’d enjoy and be successful in.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

I spend my “spare time” performing elaborate songs about brushing teeth and washing hands. I also do great imitations of frogs, chickens, cows, and lions…I’m a new mom.

Cats are super cute, but dogs are just the best!

The most inspiring part of my job is getting to meet new people, establishing relationships with clients, and working alongside an amazing team!

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?

If I had one superpower, it’d have to be the power to teleport! Imagine the amount of money saved on gas, plane tickets, and you’d be saving your own time as well.

Cats or Dogs?

Dogs are very adorable and cuddly, but I’m more of a cat person! Cats are very independent creatures, and once you gain their trust, they become the sweetest little companions!

What is the most inspiring part of your job?

The ability to help change lives. Our careers are a massive part of our lives and helping someone land their dream job, find somewhere that works better with their schedule, or even make a life changing amount of money are the biggest take-aways from being a recruiter.

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?

Flying. I don’t like driving, so if I could just bolt over in the air opposed to a car, that would be a dream!
